Had it not been for the Lunch Mob, the truth is that I would have never known about the “El Trocadero Steak house”. Not that it’s not a popular place and all, because nobody ever told me about it or when searching for a good Mexican restaurant I never found it on Google.

From the heart of a real Internet Marketer

9 years ago I remember wondering what they hell I was going to do with my life. It was the middle of a freezing winter and I had only 2 bags of clothes, $17 and a busted up video camera to my name.

By the grace of god I was able to score a tiny little shack to live in for $100 a month. It didn’t have running water, or facilities like most houses had, but it did have a roof and a wood stove. For that I was beyond thankful. I built an outhouse outside to relieve myself, and had to bathe in the ice melting river out front to stay clean.

With that video camera, I made a tape of me doing a bunch of magic tricks. Then I duped that tape onto a bunch of VHS tapes and threw them into my back pack and hit the bars. I’d sell those tapes for $5, $10, $20 and even sometimes for $100. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I was selling “information products” without even being aware info products existed.

Then I got a really big break. I found a girlfriend who really believed in me. She actually moved into that shack with me, bought a computer she was supposed to use for school, but instead gave it to me to figure out how to do internet marketing. I don’t think I ever let her back onto that computer. But I did begin to make a better life for us.

For 12 to 16 hours a day I’d be on that computer trying to figure out how to buy and sell items. I’d hustle stuff from garage sales on Craigslist, eBay, and more.

Eventually I learned how to write some copy and to translate my ideas and stories into sales letters. And when I fully grasped this, I knew my life would never be the same.

But you have to know how to tell them, and leverage them in ways that resonate with other people.

We all have some fucked up things that have happened to us. Don’t let those stories be a crutch. Use them for POWER! We’ve all been down and out before at some point in our life, but it’s how you respond and react to those moments that will define whether you are a winner or a whiner.

Awhile back and I mean awhile back like over a year ago a friend of mine Tammy was telling me about this network marketing program that helps you lose weight and you can make a little income from called Visalus. The truth is, I don’t really care for network marketing. I don’t even understand it. But what I do know is internet marketing for in the field of SEO and SEM. I have been doing it for quite some time know.

Visalus, Network Marketing and Me…

Because I have really never understood network marketing, I never took Visalus all that serious. I mean seriously, I do search engine optimization and that’s what I do best. The best part is I love what I do and I am pretty damn good at. I just get it and most don’t.

What if… Visalus that is…

So here is what I have been thinking. What if? What if I could actually benefit from the Visalus program? Wouldn’t that be something? I have been watching people succeed with Visalus for some time now. Watching the before and after pictures. Hearing about the great income. People seem to be genuinely happy with what they’re doing.

I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT!

Seriously, I need to lose weight. Don’t get me wrong I’m not obese or anything. I am just not happy with my weight. I’m 5’11 and weigh 197LBS. I really feel that I shouldn’t weigh more than a 160 to 165LBS. So I was curious about what my body fat index was. So I found this called HealthyForms.com to see what they said.

Measuring your waist… Huh?

So to calculate what my body fat the site asked me for some measurements. Well fair enough. I put in my height (5’11), put in my age (43), asked me male or female… I’m a male, easy enough. But then it asked me to measure my waist.

Your waist measurement should be determined by measuring the distance around your natural waist which is located just above your navel.

Wow! To measure your natural waist, you need to measure just above your navel! Really! No Really! Well I did, never before have I ever measured above my navel… I was shocked… I was a whopping 45 inches… That’s pretty scary, I mean really scary since my pant size is still just a 34 waist. Ok don’t get me wrong, yes my pants are getting a little too tight, well way too tight…

I’m doing the 90 Day Challenge

My goal is to lose weight, want lose 35lbs in 90 days. I can do this and I will! But I think just like anybody else, you need a support system and because of this I am getting ready to sign up with Visalus and start doing there shake program. In February 2013 I am starting my 90 day challenge with the “Body By Vi” program. It’s a done deal!

Ugh… I want to quit smoking…

Yep, I smoke about a pack and a half a day. I have been smoking for years. I feel that if I’m going to lose this weight, I need to quit smoking at the same time. It’s a must. I am so sick of smoking and being overweight, it really makes you depressed… It’s going to be tough and I know this. But if I can lose weight and quit smoking, I know I will be so much happier. I know that I will have a clear head and be able to do more with my career. Most of all my boys Conner and Cody really want to quit and have for years. Leave it to a couple of 9yr olds to know best… Who’s the parent here…

I am going to lose weight and quit smoking by putting my ass out there… Yea I know it sounds bad, it’s the only way I can stop myself from giving up… So here is what I have planned I am going to pull a Jason Moffat on this thing. I am going to create a video everyday documenting what how this is going. No holding back, it’s going to be real. Each and every day I am going to post a video to my YouTube channel and share what is going on and how I am doing on it. Once I post the video, I am going to post that video to evisalus.com a site that I am creating right now just for this.

Earlier today I spent my Saturday watching a webinar hosted by Jason Fladlien and Wilson Mattos. In the webinar they had special guest Jack Mize who created the “Local Video Flip”. I have to tell you that this was a webinar worth being on. The opportunities are endless. Keep reading and you will see what I mean. Also this is an update to yesterdays post about “Pro Niche Video“.

Here’s what I mean… Local Video Flip Review is…

Local Video Flip is quite amazing. I think I was more amazed by how Jack Mize showed people how to find new customers in any local niche using his “Local Video Flip”. He showed on the training how you can get new customers just by going to YouTube.com and searching Super Pages own video directory, LOL. I sat there watching the video and thinking about all the new customers I could get/take/swipe, whatever you want to call it, just by going to their customers and say “Hey, you’re being screwed!” No really, these people are that are subscribing to Super Pages video marketing packages are being screwed! (this is my opinion, don’t want to piss anybody off here, LOL)

Super Pages Local Niche Video Marketing Sucks!

OK, I know, that’s pretty rough… Here I am telling you that “Super Pages Niche Local Video Marketing Sucks!” But that’s how I felt and still feel after watching the second webinar. Screw the idea that my affiliate links are embedded within this post because these people are promising views, clicks, new customers… and they’re not delivering… But most of these videos are only getting less than a 100 video views. Some of these videos have been up for more than a year or two or longer, that’s not cool!

Is it Local Video Flip or Pro Niche Video?

It doesn’t matter what you want to call it. You can call it “Local Video Flip” or “Pro Niche Video”, this is very lucrative opportunity and deserves to be taken seriously. Here is something to think about, I was looking at the Super Pages local video channel on YouTube and the video views. They currently had 8615 videos uploaded to their YouTube.com channel.
